In honor of National Tax Day, this coming Monday, April 18th, we’re hoping you can spare about 10 minutes to help save the Adoption Tax Credit! The credit is crucial for many people to be able to adopt. That makes it crucial to finding families for thousands of kids. Your time can make a difference.
Save the Adoption Tax Credit is an effort of the Adoption Tax Credit Working Group — a collaboration of 151 adoption and child welfare organizations. The goal is an adoption tax credit that is inclusive, permanent, refundable and “flat” for special needs. They need your help to support the Adoption Tax Credit Refundability Act (S 950/HR 2434).
Give back to the folks that will adopt in the future and ask your representative for their support. Here are the links to help you find your representatives.
