Q: How should adoptive parents prepare when planning to adopt a baby that has been prenatally exposed to opiates?

A: I would say that one important way to prepare for a baby that has been exposed is to get everything in order (at home, work) in order to plan on being at the hospital for an extended period of time (a week up to possibly 6 weeks).
