SAVE the ATCThere’s an urgent call to action from Save the Adoption Tax Credit to build increased support for protecting the adoption tax credit and making it refundable.  They have a current goal of gaining 100 House Sponsors to spread awareness of the goals and the mission of their legislative efforts. Here’s their mission statement, from the Save the Adoption Tax Credit website:

Save the Adoption Tax Credit is the effort of a national collaboration of organizations and individuals called the Adoption Tax Credit Working Group that have united to support the cause of adoption by advocating for the adoption tax credit.

They are asking folks to spread the word about the Adoption Tax Credit by contacting their federal government representatives, by sharing resources on social media, and by urging others to do the same. Here is a link to finding your your representatives and suggestions for how to talk to them about the issues: Save the Adoption Tax Credit/Advocate.

Please feel free to share this with others that you know care about making the Adoption Tax Credit accessible and refundable to all adoptive families. Use the hashtag #PassHR2434 when posting on social media to spread the word!
