Healthy Blue Together NC

Healthy Blue Care Together families can access free virtual trainings through Kindred Village’s partnership with Creating a Family.

On Demand Courses:

These convenient, self-paced courses are designed to strengthen caregivers’ knowledge and skills as they support children and youth.

Prenatal Substance Exposure Workshops:

Children exposed to alcohol or drugs before birth often have unique brain-based challenges that can affect behavior, learning, emotional regulation, and daily life. This free training helps caregivers understand the impact of prenatal substance exposure and provides practical, trauma-informed strategies to better support their child’s development and strengthen family relationships.

Monthly Kinship Gatherings

Connect with other grandparents and relative caregivers who understand the unique joys and challenges of raising a relative child. Our virtual and in-person support groups provide a welcoming space to share experiences, learn practical parenting strategies, discover community resources, and reduce the isolation many kinship caregivers feel.
Virtual Kinship Gathering
