Birth Year: 2005
Sasha is a sweet, loving and kindhearted little girl. She has tested positive for HIV, which is well controlled with medication. She lives in a small, well-run group home with other children who have tested HIV positive. Holt Ambassadors visited the children there in October 2015 and spent several days getting to know them. Many photos, videos and firsthand accounts of this little girl are on file, and you can read a blog post by her Ambassador here! Sasha has a quiet personality which opens up as she becomes comfortable in her environment. She has made good friends in the group home. She likes singing, dancing, playing games, and painting. Her physical development is normal for her age. When Sasha first arrived in the group home in 2014, she hadn't been taking her medication regularly and had missed a lot of school. Now she is healthy and attends school regularly, but she is behind. She is a slow learner who tries hard but needs additional help. This sweet girl would welcome a family to love and belong to.
