Major's Story

Major was born in March 2002 and is healthy. His development is on target.
Major is an active and mobile teen whose movements are well coordinated and purposeful. He's appropriately oriented in time and space and understands everyday life. He's practical and a flexible thinker with a normal attention span and ability to memorize, but he gets bored easily with monotonous work. Major has the necessary cognitive potential to master his academic work, but he is not well motivated at school.
Major is confident and strongly defends his opinions and interests which can lead to conflicts and arguments with other children. When provoked or under pressure, he may react with tension, aggression, or inappropriate language. Major is stubborn and does not like to be limited or controlled, but has gained an understanding of his actions, their consequences and his personal responsibility for them.
Major easily initiates and maintains interactions with others. He joins group games and team sports. He is able to perform household chores, willingly runs errands, and keeps up his personal appearance and space. Major's attitude toward adoption is positive.
