Haddon was born in October 2002 and is healthy. His development is on target.

Haddon is a generally calm and quiet teen who attends seventh grade in a mainstream classroom with good academic results. He can analyze, synthesize and classify as well as retell stories. He is capable of making causal associations, has a rich imagination, draws beautifully, and is good at handiwork. Haddon's scholastic potential is bigger than reflected in his current grades which are affected by distractions from being among the other students.

Even though Haddon is a bit introverted and reserved, he has well-developed expressive speech and social skills. The staff at the orphanage cherish him and encourage him to share his feelings and thoughts. Haddon does not engage in conflicts and is rather a peacemaker when those situations arise, trying to resolve problems with communication and protecting those who are weaker.

Haddon is an inquisitive teen who likes to watch the Discovery Channel, play on the computer, and attend craft workshops. His favorite books are in the fantasy genre and he's especially fond of the Harry Potter series. Haddon enjoys helping with meal preparations and other household chores.

Haddon lived with his birth family until he was four and has been in the same orphanage for the last eight years. He thinks a lot about having a family of his own and is eager to be adopted.

Update August 2016: Well-mannered Haddon continues to be in good health. In school he is noted to struggle more with focus when he does not find the subject to be of interest. Overall, his grades are adequate, he reads and writes well, and the head teacher speaks highly of him. This young teen would benefit greatly from the resources and support of a loving family and he strongly wishes to be adopted.
