Bianca was born in 2006. After contracting pneumococcal meningoencephalitis at 8 months of age, she went into a coma and began having seizures. She has been diagnosed with epilepsy, infantile cerebral palsy, partial optic nerve atrophy; exotropia and significant developmental delays.

Bianca is nearly completely immobile and spends her days lying in a crib. She does not respond to lights and sounds and shows no initiative to move on her own. Bianca does not make eye contact and her receptive and expressive speech are not developed. When upset, Bianca can be calmed through caresses.

Weight at birth: 3.050 kg

Weight in May 2015: 15.750 kg

Height in May 2015: 112 cm
