Fascinating article in the New York Times magazine on the Korean adoptees who decide to return to South Korea to live as adults- Why a Generation of Adoptees Is Returning to South Korea
Well researched and written. The author, and adoptive mom, explores the history of international adoption and how some adoptees feel caught in between two families and two cultures. She does a good job of capturing the complexities of international adoption. I especially found interesting the glimpse inside the Korean adoptee community in Seoul, and how this experience differs for male and female adoptees. Well worth the read.
