Adopting a child from another country brings additional layers of issues to consider when learning how to parent them well. This package of courses is designed to help you think about fostering healthy cultural identity. Topics include exposing your children to healthy racial/cultural mirrors and role models, giving your child tools to talk about racial or cultural differences, helping your child process their cultural identity and factors to consider when preparing for a homeland tour. There is also a wonderful opportunity to hear from several adult adoptees who share their stories of navigating racial and cultural issues in their adoption experiences.
(5) 1-Hour Online Audio Courses (Certificate of completion will be immediately awarded upon successful completion of each individual course including passing a 10-question quiz with a grade of 80%.)
