RESOLVE.org’s National Infertility Awareness Week, is being held during the week of April 23rd through 29th. A broad-based advocacy and awareness campaign, activities are scheduled all over the country and will include seminars and webinars, book launches, Zumba parties, Walk of Hope events, and even some documentary movie screenings in locations around the country. For a fuller listing of the week’s events, check out their calendar.

This year, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association wants you to “Listen Up!” when it comes to issues around infertility and family building. This public awareness campaign is created so anyone who cares about the infertility community can feel empowered to do something that makes a difference, either in your own family building journey or to help someone else. Infertility impacts millions of Americans and does not discriminate based on race, religion, socioeconomic status or sexuality. “Listen Up!” and become part of the movement.

Then, Advocacy Day (May 18, 2017) follows National Infertility Awareness Week in May each year. It’s hosted in Washington, DC for those who care about the infertility community. It’s a chance to talk to Members of Congress about important issues, like increased access to family building options and financial relief. Support from RESOLVE.org and their partners is provided for attendees and the meetings are scheduled by RESOLVE.org and facilitated with the legislative representatives. Additionally, seminars and training sessions are held to help you learn more about what advocacy is needed and how to do it well.

We at Creating a Family are proud to stand with RESOLVE.org in raising awareness of the issues surrounding infertility. We hope you take the opportunity to inform yourself and see what you can do to help the nation “Listen Up!”
