Resolve and American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) are partnering to bring 2019’s Advocacy Day to Washington, DC on May 15th and 16th. Registration for the events is now open.
If you have a passion to speak up about issues that impact the infertility community and access to all family building options, check out the many ways in which you can participate and lend your voice.
From Resolve’s Registration Page for Advocacy Day:
Advocacy Day is a RESOLVE event where the infertility community comes together in Washington, D.C. to talk to Members of Congress about important issues, like increased access to family building options and financial relief. RESOLVE holds this annual event so you have a chance to make your voice heard. We will make your appointments for you and provide you with the training and information you need for this day of empowerment. Advocacy Day is a great opportunity to meet RESOLVE leaders and others from the infertility community who want to make a difference and deliver a message that people with infertility matter.
When you register at the above link, Resolve’s representatives will be in touch to help you with your plans. Typically the two days include training. Resolve will set up opportunities to speak with your representatives in DC. If you have never been or if you are meeting a new Member of Congress, maybe it’s time to tell them your story. After all, your story matters and it leaves an impact.
