Grandpa’s Reaction to the Name of His Soon-To-Be Grandson

After struggling through four years of treatments for infertility and painful endometriosis, Kerstin Barnette and her husband joyfully discovered they were expecting a baby. Her father, Robert Paul, walked through many of the hard days right by his daughter’s side and was there on the day that their ultrasound revealed she was expecting a boy. He kept the secret with them about his soon-to-be grandson.

After several (looong) weeks of keeping the secret, the couple revealed the gender of their baby at a big party. What made this gender reveal especially poignant is the big secret that Kerstin and her husband had for her dad. Grab a tissue, this one is incredibly sweet!
