October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day–the day to honor and remember the children that are so often not mentioned, but often thought about–especially by their parents. In honor of this day, Creating a Family wants to educate folks about miscarriage. Please share freely!
Hi,My Daughter had 4 miscarriages . I know it hurts Her to see Her other siblings have babies and She feel like She is being judged or She not good enough . I try talking with Her , but I know it’s hard for Her. I do have 3 other children and all of them came early . I’m rh- and My blood and body rejects the Babies. I had 6 pregnancies all together and lost 2 .One in miscarriage and the other heart stop beating at 4 months . I needed a DNC ,cause the Baby didn’t want to pass and it was messing with My health. My Daughter had over 4 miscarriages and had the Rogaine shot with all pregnancies due to early bleeding ,but all of Babies passed no matter how many Rogaine shots, bed rest , and hormones injections they still passed away. My children are also rh- . Both of My Girls needed the Rogaine shot with each pregnancy. My other Daughter lost 1 Baby also, but had a healthy Baby Girl the next time. My question is why My Daughter Dr. never gave Her a DNC? Or why they can’t place Her in the hospital until She pass the miscarriage phase??And how can I help My Daughter if She always push Everyone away and afraid to go to the hospital r a Dr. ,cause She feel hurt, angry, sad, hopeless, and afraid it will happen again?? Can She be having a miscarriage ,cause of Her blood being rh-,or the shots She being given to help with the pregnancies,or Her body rejecting the Babies,or some People bodies just can’t hold Babies????We need help. I hurt for Her. I study daily and I’m in the medical field and can’t help Her.
Jasmin, I’m so sorry for your daughter’s loss and your feeling of helplessness. Miscarriages are so very hard to cope with. Your questions are good ones and need to be directed at your daughter’s doctor. She might also want to consider going to a doctor that specializes in miscarriage. If her doctor can’t recommend one, suggest that she contact an infertility clinic because reproductive endocrinologists can help her with miscarriages. I hope you find the help you are looking for!
