I am a sucker for birth and adoption announcements. Adorable kids, happy parents – what`s not to love? There are many examples of creative birth announcements, but far fewer for announcing the arrival or impending arrival of a child by adoption. Creating a Family to the rescue!
We put out the call to our online community to send in their adoption announcements. We also have a Pinterest Board completed devoted to adoption announcement. We have 80 ideas for announcing the adoption of a child through domestic, foster, and international adoption or announcing the planning to adopt. Check them out. They make me smile!

I prefer the straightforward ones eg “We welcome Jane and John into our family”. I thought a lot of the pinterest ones were a bit tacky.
I do get a bit tired of those adopting quoting Matthew 18.5. For starters, one better make sure every part ofone’s adoption is totally above board otherwise one might be guilty of Matthew 18.6.
